Desktop & laptop initiative

This initiative seeks to agree and promote University of Oxford standard desktop and laptop configurations that are focused on, but not restricted to non-academic staff. The group, in conjunction with the Purchasing Department, will continue to refine the models and pricing to ensure that department IT requirements are met at the lowest possible cost.  

What can we do for you?

If you are responsible for purchasing IT for your department, or your own funded laptop, the current models are available to you directly from Dell through the Dell punch-out catalogue available via Oracle Financials.

Dell Standard Configuration desktops and laptops come with a four year, next business day, onsite warranty as standard. Warranty support for additional years is available, and is more cost effective when purchased upfront with the hardware.
