The Purchasing Department has established arrangements with four preferred suppliers to enable free of charge deliveries to home addresses:
- Dell – laptops and desktops;
- Elm – furniture;
- Office Depot – stationery and office supplies; and
- XMA – IT peripherals.
Guidance documents setting out the detailed ordering processes to support home delivery are set out below. These processes must be followed to ensure delivery to a home address, and to avoid personal information being captured inappropriately in Oracle Financials.
Departments are able to order any of the products usually available from Dell and Office Depot for home delivery, however a more limited catalogue of products is available from Elm and XMA as set out in the catalogues below.
If you have any feedback regarding the catalogues please email firstname.lastname@example.org or use the named contacts in the guidance documents.
Courier services – office equipment
Our preferred supplier Robinsons Relocation can facilitate the transfer of office equipment from Oxford locations to home addresses in the UK on weekdays. Please contact Mary Bamford (email@example.com / 01235 552272) to arrange for a quotation, providing: (a) the full pick-up and destination addresses; (b) a contact name and number: (c) details of any access restrictions; and (d) details of whether items will require dismantling and/or re-building. Indicative costs are £65 + VAT per hour (minimum of three hours), so please consider co-ordinating requirements with colleagues.
Individuals can sign documents sent to them using the Adobe Fill & Sign tool available as part of the University’s standard Adobe package.
To send documents to other parties for signature, the Purchasing Department has appointed E-Sign UK Limited (www.e-sign.co.uk) as a preferred supplier. E-Sign provide a full electronic signature platform, with all data stored in the UK under ISO27001 accreditation. Various pricing plans are available to suit the individual needs of departments. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for further details.
