Procurement strategy

The University’s current Procurement Strategy runs from 2023 to 2028. The purpose is to set out a medium-term strategy for the delivery of procurement arrangements across the University and objectives for success.

The Procurement Strategy has been developed along five strategic aims:

  1. Leveraging University Expenditure
  2. Enhancing Devolved Practice
  3. Developing Stakeholder Relationships
  4. Managing Supply Risk
  5. Developing Professional Talent

Specific yearly implementation plans are developed against this strategy and delivered by the University Purchasing Department.
